The General Maintenance position is a part-time position to maintain the hotel property and perform repairs as requested.
Position: Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and painting as needed.
- Conduct regular surveys of the buildings to identify necessary repairs and maintenance issues, reporting them to the General Manager and developing a plan to address them.
- Implement preventive maintenance measures for the building and guest rooms, including servicing HVAC systems and cleaning filters.
- Assist with general upkeep duties and complete assigned tasks as needed, such as moving furniture and transporting supplies between buildings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in general maintenance, repairs, and handyman tasks.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and construction skills.
- Strong knowledge of tools and repair techniques.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Work hours are flexible based on tasks and candidate availability.
$23 - $25 per hour
