The Bay Church is seeking a creative and organized Marketing Specialist to help people connect with the life changing ministry of our church through strategic communication and promotion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing efforts across digital, print, web, email, social media, and weekend environments. We are looking for someone who is passionate about reaching people, highly collaborative, and committed to continual innovation and personal development.
This position works up to 12 hours per week.
DESCRIPTION
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for church wide initiatives, events, ministries, and seasonal experiences.
• Partner with ministry leaders to identify communication needs and create promotional plans that support ministry goals.
• Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing assets across web, email, social media, weekend services, and campus environments.
• Write compelling copy for emails, web pages, event promotions, social media, digital advertising, and print materials.
• Manage and update website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and current.
• Assist with email marketing strategy, audience segmentation, scheduling, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the creative team on social media content planning.
• Support digital advertising initiatives including Google Ads, social media advertising, and other outreach campaigns.
• Collaborate with weekend experience teams to create cohesive promotional strategies.
• Help maintain and champion The Bay Church brand standards across all communication channels.

• The ability to set and meet deadlines, while managing multiple projects at one time
$18 - $20 per hour
