This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both organization and people. This position will be scheduled up to 12 hours during the week and approximately 5 hours on Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
Mid-Week Curriculum & Ministry Support
- Assist in creating and organizing weekly lesson plans and curriculum materials
- Prepare printed curriculum, classroom resources, and activity supplies
- Organize ministry materials, prep areas, and storage systems
- Help support team projects, ministry initiatives, and seasonal preparation
- Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and ministry-ready environments
Sunday Ministry Support
- Help set up classrooms and ministry spaces before services
- Support classroom readiness and supply distribution
- Assist with Kids Ministry check-in as needed
- Step into teaching or classroom support roles when necessary
- Help create a smooth and welcoming Sunday experience for kids, volunteers, and families
Team Culture & Collaboration
- Contribute positively to the overall health and culture of the Kids Ministry team
- Support communication, collaboration, and teamwork across campuses and volunteers
- Help create a fun, encouraging, and servant-hearted environment
- Be flexible and willing to assist where needed to support ministry success
