This position works 12-15 hours per week.

DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the overall operation of the café, including ordering, product offerings, and care of the team

• Serve as the café team expert, providing ongoing training ensuring high quality product, professionalism, and culture

• Build and develop a team of volunteers to serve as the cafe staff.

• Ensure that all team members deliver quality customer service to café guests

• Implement systems, processes, and policies for the café that support and align with overall church vision, goals, policies and protocols

• Work with supervisor to develop, implement, and manage the budget, inventory, and calendar

• Develop, participate and oversee café performance standards, goals, and priorities

• Ensure the café team is prepared and trained on all safety and security protocols

• Ensure compliance with all food-handling, business, and government agencies
