Our team is growing and we are looking to add a Speech-Language Pathologist! The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals with communication, cognitive, and feeding disorders. This role requires collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized treatment plans that enhance the quality of life and support patient goals.

Schedule: Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities are available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding/swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide therapy to address articulation, language delays, fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, and other communication or feeding challenges.
  • Monitor and document patient progress through detailed records and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers in strategies to promote communication and swallowing success in daily life.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and physicians, to provide holistic care.
  • Stay current with the latest research, tools, and techniques in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards established by ASHA, state licensure boards, and organizational policies.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for CF-SLP.
  • State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Alabama through CF-SLP.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
