Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT/R)

Location: Prattville

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00)

Salary: $35-$40/hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT/R) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to pediatric clients. This role involves evaluating clients’ needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help clients achieve their functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve clients' ability to perform daily activities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions in areas such as fine motor skills, self-care, sensory integration, and more.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Educate clients and families on strategies to maintain progress and promote independence.
  • Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT/R) license in Alabama or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • NBCOT certification preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric population.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific therapeutic techniques, such as sensory integration or assistive technology.
