The Therapist serves as the primary clinical contact for assigned participants, providing individual therapy, group therapy, mental health assessments, and aftercare planning. This role is essential to fostering meaningful behavioral change through therapeutic alliance, evidence-based interventions, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Therapist reports directly to the Clinical Director and participates in weekly supervision.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination
  • Ensure participant safety and uphold trauma-informed practices
  • Foster supportive, professional relationships with participants, families, referents, and community partners
  • Demonstrate ongoing curiosity, learning, and professional development

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical Care

  • Conduct mental health assessments, evaluations, and observe physical health indicators
  • Provide weekly individual counseling and track client progress
  • Facilitate assigned group therapy sessions with strong engagement and guidance
  • Develop depth-rich curriculum for assigned groups
  • Motivate participants through early recovery challenges and build therapeutic rapport

Team Collaboration

  • Participate in weekly case review meetings
  • Coordinate aftercare plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide crisis management as needed
  • Offer occasional in-house training to clinical staff

Professional Development

  • Attend external trainings, professional development opportunities, and periodic conferences

Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per year
