Job Description:

As a Tree Care Specialist, you'll be the frontline leader, responsible for managing your team's daily operations, equipment, and safety protocols. This role requires hands-on involvement, exceptional leadership, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of your assigned team, focusing on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings ("tailgate topics") and perform site inspections.
  • Oversee Fleet and Equipment management, utilizing company software for inspections and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with BIT Inspections as mandated by State Laws.
  • Supervise quality control of jobs and manage customer interactions as needed.
  • Prepare trees for removal, trimming, and rigging operations.
  • Employ advanced climbing and rigging techniques for safe tree trimming and removal.
  • Uphold proper pruning practices and species identification.
  • Maintain climbing gear and tree care equipment, ensuring safety and operational readiness.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in chainsaw and equipment operation, including aerial lifts.
  • Send emails to management documenting any issues on client sites.
  • Utilize Arbor-Note works daily, including capturing before and after photos, recording accurate job hours, and reporting site issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Utilize electric time capture systems to monitor team clock-ins and outs.

Education and Experience:

  • Certified Arborist preferred (or required within 1 year of hire).
  • TCIA Safety Certifications preferred (or required within 1 year of hire).
