The Arbor Group LLC is looking for a Operations Manager in the Northern California area.


The Operations Manager is the boots on the ground leader, managing and optimizing all personnel, equipment, and safety. They are responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations within their assigned territory. They ensure the efficiency of said operations, while working alongside direct reports, providing mentoring and accountability, as well as recognition and praise. A strong Operations Manager is a dynamic and engaged leader with a passion for success and growth.


  • Manage day-to-day field operations, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and operational efficiencies
  • Conducts weekly "tailgate topics", and site inspections
  • Maintains and reviews Fleet, Equipment, and DVIR Inspections, through respective Company software
  • Manage BIT Inspections, as required by State Law
  • Oversees quality control of all jobs, and handles customer interactions at job sites, where applicable
  • Communicates with Client schedule dates and job completion, through respective Company software
  • Responsible for purchasing gear/equipment, and small tools, as needed
  • Responsible for hiring and terminating of direct reports
  • Maintains field training and certification program
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving Time Capture through respective Company software

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other industry related field preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience
  • Certified Arborist preferred, or required within 1 year of hire
  • TCIA Safety Certifications preferred, or required within 1 year of hire
