The Anderson Centers currently seek motivated and committed Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team.


The RBT will provide skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon theories of behavior to individuals of all ages in the home, community, and school settings. The RBT will implement skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT will consistently communicate with all team members, attend team meetings, collect patient data, provide detailed session notes, and participate in ongoing training to ensure effective treatment for each patient. Responsibilities


  • Provide 1:1 intervention to individuals consistent with best practices in behavior intervention across communication, social, and adaptive skills domains
  • Interpret and implement individualized treatment plans as designed by supervisor
  • Collect data and make data-based decisions with oversight of supervisor
  • Complete and submit detailed documentation in a timely manner
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors
  • Work closely with family members to coordinate care across home, and community settings
  • Maintain professional standards in line with TAC’s core values


Qualifications


  • Experience working with children and adolescents in 1:1 or classroom/group & In-Home settings.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift and carry patients.
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with individuals with challenging behavior.
  • Must be able to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
  • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.
  • Must have a valid State Driver’s License & insurance in good standing.

Salary

$21 - $25 per hour
