Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 11:00 am-3:00 pm, 5:00 pm-10:00 pm

Job Description

Thani Bowl Noodle House in Salt Lake City is seeking a Cashier/Customer Service Representative who will be the face of our company, warmly welcoming guests and creating a lasting impression. As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include educating customers about our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, upselling special items, and taking orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering food to guest tables, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and restrooms, and ensuring the overall dining area is well-maintained. Successful candidates will possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to provide guests with the best possible experience. The compensation for this position includes both salary and tips. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to obtain an Alcohol Server License.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the restaurant.
• Assist guests by answering their questions regarding ingredients, spice level, and other inquiries.
• Take orders with careful attention to detail, considering dietary preferences, allergies, and other specific requirements.
• Serve food to tables promptly and efficiently.
• Handle payment processing, including debit/credit card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness in the reception area, dining area, and bathrooms.
• Manage inventory of consumables such as napkins, toilet paper, soap, etc.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and provide recommendations for new menu items.
• Coordinate and organize online orders for pickup or delivery.

Skills

• Previous experience as a Barista/Cashier or Waiter/Waitress is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts within our operating hours (Monday - Saturday, 11 am-9 pm).
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and cater to customers' preferences.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma preferred; relevant training is a plus.
