Established in 1989, TPPF promotes conservative principles and develops free-market approaches to public policy challenges affecting Texans and all Americans. The Role:

Description:

This role is pivotal in shaping and communicating the Foundation’s brand identity through various digital and print mediums. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, ensuring our brand is consistently represented across all platforms.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain TPPF’s brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity; oversee all creative projects, from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with TPPF’s mission and values; lead the design and implementation of branding initiatives, including logos, color schemes, typography, and other visual elements.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing and impactful designs for digital and print media, including reports, infographics, social media graphics, newsletters, and event materials; collaborate with various departments to produce creative assets that support TPPF’s policy initiatives and campaigns; manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the communications and marketing teams to develop creative strategies that enhance TPPF’s public image and outreach efforts; provide art direction and creative guidance to team members and external partners; stay updated on design trends and tools to continuously improve the Foundation’s creative output.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment; mentor and support communications managers, promoting a culture of growth and development; actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing constructive feedback and innovative ideas.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, brand management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and design capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • High ethical standards, a positive attitude, and a commitment to TPPF’s mission and values.
