Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PICU RN to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a PICU RN, you will provide care to critically ill or injured children in the pediatric intensive care unit. You will work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. You will be responsible for administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and assess the patient's condition, vital signs, and neurological status
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement the patient's care plan
• Document all care provided in the patient's medical record
• Assist with procedures and surgeries as needed
• Educate patients and their families on their care and discharge plan

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona
• At least one year of experience as a PICU RN
• BLS and PALS certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
