About Technique Gymnastics

For 30 years, Technique Gymnastics has been providing skill instruction to students crawling to 18 in gymnastics, tumbling, acro gymnastics, trampoline, and Ninja gym in a positive, confidence-building atmosphere. We also have competitive gymnastics, trampoline & tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics teams for kids ages 6 to 18. We strictly adhere to all USA Gymnastics and US Center for Safesport Policies and their mission to provide a safe environment for youth sports.

Description

The Early Childhood Program Manager is responsible for leading and growing Technique Gymnastics' Early Childhood Department, serving children from infancy through age six. This leadership position oversees our Kindergym program while helping develop innovative classes, curriculum, camps, special events, and family experiences that inspire a lifelong love of movement.


The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized, and creative leader who enjoys working with young children, mentoring coaches, building relationships with families, and developing new ideas. This role combines hands-on coaching with leadership, curriculum development, staff management, and program planning.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Early Childhood Department.
  • Coach and supervise kindergym classes.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate early childhood coaching staff.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Create and implement new programs, camps, clinics, and special events.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for children and families.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and department managers to support the continued growth of the program.
  • Assist with scheduling and department administration.
  • Help promote and grow the department through community outreach and marketing initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Experience working with children from birth to age six.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Background in gymnastics, early childhood education, dance, occupational therapy, physical education, elementary education, or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative leadership style.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • .Livescan Background check (required before start).
  • TB Test (required before start).
  • USAG membership required
  • Special training for youth services facilities (sexual harassment and additional mandated reporter training) is required.

Salary

$29 - $35 per hour
