About Technique Gymnastics

For 30 years, Technique Gymnastics has been providing skill instruction to students crawling to 18 in gymnastics, tumbling, acro gymnastics, trampoline, and Ninja gym in a positive, confidence-building atmosphere. We also have competitive gymnastics, trampoline & tumbling, and acrobatic gymnastics teams for kids ages 6 to 18. We strictly adhere to all USA Gymnastics and US Center for Safesport Policies and their mission to provide a safe environment for youth sports.

Description

The Early Childhood & Kindergym Program Manager is responsible for leading and growing Technique Gymnastics' Early Childhood Development Department, serving children from infancy through age six. This leadership position oversees our Kindergym program while helping develop innovative classes, curriculum, camps, special events, and family experiences that inspire a lifelong love of movement.


The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized, and creative leader who enjoys working with young children, mentoring coaches, building relationships with families, and developing new ideas. This role combines hands-on coaching with leadership, curriculum development, staff management, and program planning.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow Technique's Early Childhood Department.
  • Build innovative programs that encourage movement, confidence, an da lifelong love of activity.
  • Coach and oversee Kindergym classes for children 0-6.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and support coaching staff.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Create new classes, camps, clinics, and special events.
  • Built positive relationships with children and families.
  • Maintain a safe, fun, and welcoming learning environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to grow enrollment and improve programs.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and department administration.
  • Partner with the marketing team to promote early childhood programs.


Qualifications

  • A desire to innovate, build new programs, and create exceptional experiences for children and families.
  • Experience working with children from birth to age six is required.
  • Experience teaching movement-based programs such as gymnastics, dance, physical education, recreation, or similar activities preferred.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for child development and learning through movement.
  • Creative, energetic, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to mentor and support a team of coaches.
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • LiveScan Fingerprinting required.
  • TB Test (or signed CDPH approved Tuburculosis Risk Assessment Questionnaire form) required.

Salary

$25 - $35 per hour
