Mid-Level Software Application Developer with 3–10 years of experience in application development, as well as report and dashboard creation, is needed.

Description

Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a DoD Secret clearance.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of experience in application development, report and dashboard creation.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • 1-2 years of Qlik/Tableau/Databricks Experience.
  • Education: B.A./BS or M.A./MS
  • Location: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Pentagon to facilitate occasional onsite work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications to support business needs.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data and application development.


Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Data Extraction: Proficient in extracting data from rational databases and cloud-based data solutions such as Redshift.
  • Dashboard Creation: Skilled in creating insightful and interactive dashboards using tools like Qlik and Tableau.
  • Databricks: Experience with Databricks is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript/JSON, and PL-SQL is essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: Possesses a meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

  • This is a mid-level position requiring a balance of technical skills, experience, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, technology, and problem-solving.
  • Hybrid position with a primarily remote setup. Onsite presence will be required as needed for meetings, collaboration, or other business purposes.
