Minimum Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or SQL Developer with a strong understanding of relational databases.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
• Education: B.A./BS or M.A./MS.
• Location: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Pentagon to facilitate occasional onsite work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting tables to provide actionable insights and support business decisions.
• Build and maintain staging, fact, and dimension tables using extracted data.
• Optimize ETL processes for integrating new data elements and ensuring data accuracy.
• Collaborate with data engineers and team members to design and implement data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data issues and maintain data integrity.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality results.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Databricks, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle HCM.

Additional Information:

• Hybrid position with a primarily remote setup. Onsite presence will be required as needed for meetings, collaboration, or other business purposes.
