Job Title: Event Staff - Customer Service & Sales

Department: Marketing

Job Type: Contract/Seasonal

Pay range: $15/hour                   

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Setup and breakdown of booth/table at various event venues
• Help build and maintain displays of merchandise
• Engage with customers in a friendly and efficient manner while completing customer transactions on the POS (point of sale)
• Cash handling
• Attention to detail to ensure the correct item types are selected on the POS
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the booth/table
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors

• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with teammates
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high volume sales environment
• Can follow directions and enjoys multitasking

Basic Requirements of Event Staff:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• At least two years of related customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Related retail or sales experience is preferred but not required
• Hold a valid driver’s license and has reliable transportation:
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing behind the counter
• Must be able to lift minimum 20 pounds, up to 50 pounds with help
