Job Title: Event Staff - Customer Service & Sales
Department: Marketing
Job Type: Contract/Seasonal
Pay range: $15/hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Setup and breakdown of booth/table at various event venues
- Help build and maintain displays of merchandise
- Engage with customers in a friendly and efficient manner while completing customer transactions on the POS (point of sale)
- Cash handling
- Attention to detail to ensure the correct item types are selected on the POS
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the booth/table
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors

Basic Requirements of Event Staff:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least two years of related customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Related retail or sales experience is preferred but not required
- Hold a valid driver’s license and has reliable transportation:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing behind the counter
- Must be able to lift minimum 20 pounds, up to 50 pounds with help
