The Patient care coordinator assists patients from beginning to end. Creating a great experience for the patient. The Patient care coordinator will also perform administrative tasks during the check in/out process.
As a patient care coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service to all patients who visit or contact the office. This includes warmly greeting patients, answering phone calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries, and assisting with insurance verification to ensure accurate billing. You will also be responsible for managing patient appointments, checking out patients and processing payments, as well as completing daily financial transactions and closing out the day's accounts. Additionally, you will be expected to perform general office tasks and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Prior experience in an optical office is preferred, but we are willing to train exceptional candidates.
