Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients

- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses

- Explain insurance benefits to patients

- Understand cost of goods and retail fee schedules

- Educate patients on new prescriptions and lens care

- Use equipment such as a pupilometer and lensometer

- Keep the optical area clean and organized

- Meet with frame vendors and suggest new lines to carry

- Process patient payments accurately

- Perform other tasks as needed

Requirements:

- 2-5 years of experience in eyewear

- Knowledge of various lenses, designs, and treatments

- Ability to build positive relationships with patients

- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills

- Ability to meet patient commitments and deadlines

ABO or LDO preferred but not required
