TasselTurn Education is hiring a Recruitment Manager to join our organization! Reporting to the Executive Director, the Recruitment Manager will develop relationships and correspond with prospective program participants (high school students), support marketing and outreach efforts, lead information session presentations, and build and manage relationships with community partners and leaders.

You will bring existing community relationships, and be able to think outside the box and quickly to ensure TasselTurn Education is able to accomplish its mission and grow. The ideal candidate will be sales-oriented and understands how to navigate the educational journey from high school through college; and a self-starter passionate about helping youth reach their full potential. 


The Recruitment Manager will also have the opportunity to interact with program participants and other internal program components. 


Responsibilities will include: 

  • Building a robust pipeline of 400+ high school aged youth to sign-up for TasselTurn
  • Manage recruitment lifecycle for both participants and organizations
  • In collaboration with the ED, develop a recruitment strategy and plan to ensure a strong pipeline of prospective youth and organizations
  • Build and maintain relationships with local high schools, foster care agencies, community-based organizations and other groups that work with housing-insecure and foster care-involved youth
  • Track the weekly progress towards recruitment and retention-related goals
  • Host information sessions for interested organizations and youth and present compelling information about TasselTurn Education’s programs and services
  • Serve as prospective candidates point of contact through the recruitment process
  • Grow TasselTurn Education’s visibility through participation in local events
  • Support the creation of marketing materials and messaging, and incentives
  • Organize and implement recruitment events
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications: 

  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in recruitment, sales, or partnership development
  • Effective communication and public speaking skills, and the ability to connect with people quickly and authentically
  • Experience and connections of working within high schools, education organizations, and foster care agencies
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated evidence of cultural sensitivity in previous employment and life experiences
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Access to personal transportation to meet with prospective partners and participants 
  • A passion for helping young people meet their educational, life, and career goals
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to be flexible
  • Available for occasional weekend or evening events


Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, working three days in office and two days remote. We believe in wholeness and want team members to live full lives, we typically work 35 hours a week.

Salary

$45,000 - $50,000 per year
