The Solution Architect is responsible for identifying areas in need of improvement and determining the most appropriate solution. When a technical solution is identified, the Solution Architect will study the operational process and design an efficient, scalable, and secure automation. The role will be focused on healthcare operations and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Description

Responsibilities


Solution Design

  • Collaborate with client business and IT/technical teams through shadowing and process mapping to understand business processes and identify automation use cases
  • Assess opportunities from a financial, operational, and technical perspective to provide clients with comprehensive ROI roadmap
  • Build a pipeline of automation opportunities that align the program’s goals
  • Design automation architecture and components, incorporating best practices and guidelines
  • Addressing upstream and downstream workflows 
  • Includes but is not limited to automation inputs (e.g. export), exception management, and integration
  • Focus on code that is modular and reusable
  • Create documentation for automation implementation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user guides
  • Identify, document, and communicate process improvement opportunities identified through solution identification and design process
  • Development and Maintenance
  • Support the development of sprint plans
  • Support testing with development and operations teams
  • Develop metrics to aid in monitoring automation effectiveness and business impact
  •  Assess existing solutions and recommend improvements when identified
  • Project Management
  • Support project planning and on-time delivery, including effort estimation, resource allocation, and timeline management
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the primary technical and operational point of contact for automation projects
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Provide training and support to business users post-deployment
  • Tarpon Community
  • Participate in Tarpon Community activities specific to Solution Architect activities, included but not limited to: Solution Architect Certification training, Webinars, Research, User Groups

 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years experience in designing scalable automation solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc. 
  • Experience in Revenue Cycle and/or healthcare related industries desired
  • Proficiency in process mapping applications like Visio, Lucid Charts, Canva, GitMind, etc.

 

Experience:


  • Required experience: Automation platform knowledge such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
  • Non-RPA technologies such as native EHR solutions and APIs
  • Automation infrastructure and configuration
  • Database, data transfer, and data management applications
  • Preferred experience
  • Familiarity with common healthcare EDI transactions, such as 835, 277, etc.
  • Using analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience in the consulting industry and working directly with clients.

Salary

$135,000 - $175,000 per year
