Summary
The Automation Community Manager owns the day-to-day operation and growth of the Tarpon community. You will be the primary relationship owner for member CoE leaders, run our education and advisory programs, own the member portal experience, and make sure every member organization gets measurable value from its membership. Success in this role is measured by member engagement, renewals, and expansion.
Responsibilities
Member Relationships and Growth
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with automation CoE leaders across member health systems
- Monitor each member's use of community services and act to ensure they realize the full value of membership
- Identify opportunities to expand engagements and partner with the Tarpon team on renewals and upsells
Community Member Portal
- Own the member portal experience, including day-to-day maintenance and continuous improvement
- Onboard and train members on portal functionality to increase log-ins, return visits, and overall engagement
- Gather member feedback, then identify, define, and help build new features that strengthen CoE programs and drive retention
Education and Certification
- Co-deliver three Solution Architecture certification courses (RPA, OCR, and Agentic AI) alongside Tarpon's Solution Architecture team
- Manage course operations, including scheduling, enrollment, materials, and participant communication
- Plan, design, and host a monthly webinar series on emerging technology and member-built solutions
- Recruit member speakers and showcase projects from across the community
- Build and deliver automation education to member operational teams
CoE Advisory Programs
- Co-facilitate CoE program consultations with Tarpon's Program Executives, focused on goal setting and improving CoE operations
- Co-facilitate annual roadmapping sessions with Tarpon's Program Executives to help members build their automation pipelines
- Run twice-yearly CoE scorecard assessments, consolidate results, and publish themes to the community
Knowledge Resources
- Build and maintain the automation library, including process maps, Process Definition Documents (PDDs), and presentations for automations built across the community
- Create toolkits, templates, and resources that help members design and build faster
Automation Dashboard and Insights
- Help manage the automation dashboard initiative, which collects automation metrics through direct integrations with platforms such as UiPath
- Serve as a member point of contact for dashboard updates, issue reporting, and escalation to the technical team
- Review member data to identify improvement opportunities and share recommendations with members
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in intelligent automation, RPA, or digital transformation, ideally within or alongside an automation CoE
- Working knowledge of RPA platforms (UiPath preferred) and familiarity with OCR/IDP and agentic AI
- Experience in customer success, account management, or client-facing program management with accountability for retention or growth
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with comfort leading sessions for director- and VP-level audiences
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance
Preferred
- Healthcare experience, especially in revenue cycle operations
- UiPath certifications or experience supporting technical training
- Experience managing a web platform, digital community, or SaaS product; software engineering experience is not required
- Comfort working with data and reporting to surface insights for members
