Positions Available: We are currently hiring full- and part-time Restaurant Hosts to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth flow of seating.
• Effectively coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to accommodate special requests.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.
• Understand the menu to assist guests with questions.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house staff for a seamless dining experience.
• Delivering dishes to the correct table or seat while providing a detailed explanation of each dish.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage the waitlist, coordinate seating, and maintain an organized waiting area.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeaner, and attitude.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges.
• Quick thinking to address guest concerns effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience and Training:

• Experience is preferred but not required: we are open to training and teaching all required technical skills.
• High Character, good attitude, and a positive team-orientated mindset are essential.

Pay and Schedule:

• Hourly Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour (rates depend on store monthly covers).
• Non-Tipping Environment: We operate as a non-tipping restaurant.
• Full-Time: 30-40 hours a week
• Part-Time: 10-30 hours a week
• A minimum of 2 shifts per week is required to maintain a position at Tancho.
