Responsibilities:

• Drafting motions, complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters
• Negotiation of settlements with opposing attorneys
• Legal research and writing
• Developing legal strategies
• Working directly with clients
• Learning the practice and business of law
• Working on a team of 9 real estate attorneys in California
• Reporting directly to the Managing Partner

Qualifications:

• Experience or strong interest in litigation or real estate
• Desire to work at a technology-focused law firm
• Strong computer and Internet skills
• Proficient with Google Workspaces (Gmail and Google Sheets) and Microsoft Word
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High degree of autonomy, self-motivation, and creativity
• Membership in the State Bar of California or awaiting bar number after exam results
