We are launching our headquarters location this Summer in Overland Park, KS and looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager who will be integral to building, servicing and managing our customer base including shippers and 3PLs. Description

As Senioe Account Manager you will play a vital role in the launch and continued success of Talk Freight working daily with the Executive Team. There will be substantial growth opportunities as the company continues to build out its team and operations. This position offers a competitive  salary, commissions and a comprehensive benefits plan. You will also be able to share in the success of Talk Freight by earning company stock and contributing to increasing the stock value.

You will be focused on bringing new customers onto our platform from inquiries received as well as through your contacts and prospecting. Your responsibilities will also include customer service and developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities


  • Closing and adding new customers from lead and prospect inquiries.
  • Onboard new customers and partners
  • Continuously build and expand your book of business via prospecting, sourcing, and account development
  • Develop, maintain, and manage customer relationships through strong communication skills and exceptional customer service.
  •  Assist in handling any customer service inquiries and/or troubleshooting, if necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in LTL, FTL, flatbed and hotshot sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Existing network of contacts within the LTL industry, including shippers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers. Experience with moving freight in and out Mexico preferred.
  • Strong understanding of LTL pricing structures, freight logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage own time, organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

Salary

$65,000 - $200,000 per year
