Talk Freight is a new freight logistics company with AI proprietary software to revolutionize the transportation logistics industry. We are launching our headquarters location this Summer in Overland Park, KS and looking for our Customer Service Manager, Logistics Operations who will be integral to building our office operational processes and policies, customer experience and supporting our sales effort and leadership team.
Responsibilities:
oManaging Logistics & Customer Services day-to-day logistics operations for all modes of transportation including:
o Build and maintain strong client relationships
o Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) with key customers profiles
o Address client inquiries and issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
o Collaborate with the team to develop and implement standardized level of service
o Troubleshoot customers’ shipments
o Hiring and training of team members
o Support Talk Freight Mexico customer service team
o Assist with onboarding
o Work directly with leadership to identify, build and strengthen processes and procedures to maximize operational efficiencies and productivity as well as support on new projects.
o Support the overall company sales and revenue efforts including being able to communicate Talk Freight services with potential prospects as needed
o Oversee the office’s administrative/operational needs
o Assist in the management of A/R, A/P and HR as needed
Requirements:
o Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Transport & Logistics industry including extensive knowledge of TMS and 3PL management systems; all transportation modes (LTL, TL, Intermodal, etc.); Truckload boards (TruckStop/DAT); Freight Analytics;
o Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
o Command of Microsoft Office Suite.
o Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation, always striving to meet and exceed client expectations.
o Superior time management, multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills
o • Flexible and agile with the ability to pivot quickly to changing circumstances and quickly make decisions.
o Maintain a positive, professional and customer-centric attitude at all times.
o Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks.
Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000+ including salary and bonus PLUS company stock award opportunities

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
