Talk Childcare To Me is a licensed, multi-site early childhood education provider committed to nurturing the whole child and supporting early educators in their professional journey. We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and nurturing Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, values relationship-based care, and is committed to fostering a learning environment rooted in curiosity, respect, and developmental best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Instruction
- Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of children.
- Encourage exploration, independence, and problem-solving through guided play and intentional planning.
- Classroom Environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
- Promote positive behavior and support emotional regulation through nurturing guidance.
- Create inclusive spaces that reflect the diversity of children and families served.
- Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor child development.
- Maintain accurate attendance, daily reports, and developmental records.
- Communicate effectively with families about their child’s progress and needs.
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to ensure consistency and quality.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and reflective teaching.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood classroom setting.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements including background checks, TB test, and up-to-date immunizations.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
