Responsibilities:

• Lead cutting-edge data pipeline projects with modern technologies
• Design & implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks, DLT, dbt, Airflow, and more
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements & deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize & maintain data pipelines to ensure quality, reliability, and performance
• Develop & enforce best practices in data engineering, including coding standards & documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend improvements to data engineering practices

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture
• Extensive production experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and big data technologies
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java
• Familiarity with ELT & orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Excellent problem-solving & leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning & data science workflows
• Knowledge of data governance & security best practices
• Certification in Databricks, Azure, Google Cloud, or related technologies
