Takton Machine Intelligence Specialist (Sense Manufacturing) Remote · Full time Company website

High-volume outbound sales role for AI machine-monitoring sensors sold to small and midsize manufacturers. Base plus uncapped commission, OTE $107K+.

Description

Sense Manufacturing, a Takton company, is led by a team of entrepreneurs, builders, and technologists on a mission to become the most trusted technology partner for small and midsize manufacturers, with a product catalog built to accelerate American reindustrialization at scale.

For decades, the most advanced technology has been reserved for the world's largest manufacturers, leaving small and midsized shops behind. We're changing that.

Before building our first product, Co-Founders Carson Morell and Daniel Scott Mitchell hit the road, touring 150+ factories to learn directly from the people on the shop floor. That roadshow led to our first product: Sense Manufacturing.

Sense delivers AI sensors for machine intelligence, helping manufacturers unlock up to 40% more profit per machine, with 24/7 real-time visibility and predictive insights, and none of the complicated installations, long-term contracts, or expensive minimum order quantities.

Sales Team Vision

  • Reward results, not tenure. Great setters earn the chance to advance to closers. Great closers earn the chance to choose their own adventure.
  • Embrace innovation, respect the fundamentals. Use AI, but don't forget that sales still comes down to great communication and building trust.
  • Integrity over everything. We want team players capable of top-tier production while putting the customer first. It's harder to win that way. But is the other way really winning?

  • 21-30 demos: $300 each
  • 31+ demos: $375 each

Example: 1 qualified demo booked per day = 60 demos per quarter = $18,000 in quarterly commission, assuming demos are both held and qualified.

Our Core Values

  • Intentional velocity wins. We plan methodically and execute fast. We bias toward action, but not at the expense of direction.
  • Go and see. Trust and learnings are best forged on the shop floor. When in doubt, we show up in person.
  • Do more with less. Every dollar wasted is a dollar of customer value robbed. We stay focused to minimize waste as we scale.
  • Unreasonable hospitality. We win by taking care of customers in ways they didn't ask for and won't forget. Generosity that builds trust is not a cost, it's our edge.
  • Prove it, then scale it. We move quickly to test new concepts with first principles and data, then systematize and scale what's proven.
  • Say it in the room. We share ideas and speak hard truths openly. We disagree often, but the best idea wins. We then commit and execute as a team.
