Job Description:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a critical role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence. You will work in a supportive environment where your dedication and compassion will create lasting impacts on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care (if required).
• Foster meaningful relationships through companionship and social engagement.
• Support clients in achieving personal goals, including vocational, educational, and recreational pursuits.
• Promote safety and well-being while encouraging independence.
• Document daily activities, progress, and care plans as required.
• Transport clients to appointments, social events, or community activities, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for helping others and improving lives.
• Prior experience in caregiving, customer service, or social services is a plus.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others.
