Title: Client Engagement Representative

Base Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000
OTE Range: $65,000 - $125,000
Overview:
As a Client Engagement Representative, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the managed IT services sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to expand our client base, increase revenue, and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and cold calling to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and analysis of clients' IT infrastructure, requirements, and pain points to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by effectively managing leads, opportunities, and client relationships through CRM software.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and solution architects, to design and present comprehensive proposals and quotations to prospects.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively position our services and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management on sales activities, progress, and performance against targets.
Expectations:
- Month 1-2 (Ramp-Up Period): Focus on onboarding, training, and familiarizing oneself with Tailwind IT solutions, target market, and engagement processes. Begin prospecting and building initial relationships with potential clients.
- Month 3-4: Intensify prospecting efforts and aim to qualify a significant number of leads. Start scheduling meetings and presentations with prospects. Aim to close smaller deals and establish a pipeline of opportunities for future months.
- Month 5-6: Continue nurturing relationships with prospects and advancing them through the sales funnel. Aim to close mid-sized deals and secure commitments from clients. Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
- Month 7-8: Focus on closing larger deals and converting qualified leads into paying clients. Leverage existing client relationships for referrals and introductions to new prospects. Ensure consistent communication and follow-up with leads to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Month 9-12: Maintain momentum and strive to exceed sales targets. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients. Evaluate overall performance and set goals for the upcoming year.
Qualifications:
- Existing or past sales role for managed IT or IT consulting firm or owner.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Proven record of accomplishment of success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of managed IT services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and other relevant technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and events.
