Duties and Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly to maintain smooth guest flow.
• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to sanitation standards.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen and dining areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Take out trash, break down boxes, and manage recycling according to restaurant protocols.
• Assist with restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and unloading deliveries as needed.
• Monitor cleanliness of bathrooms, entryways, and other guest-facing areas.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures consistently.
• Support other team members and departments as needed, ensuring a smooth operation from back-of-house to front-of-house.

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or janitorial role preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in hot, humid, or wet environments and around cleaning chemicals.
• Requires frequent bending, lifting, and use of manual cleaning equipment.
