We're looking for a Video Content Creator to edit high-performing, social-first videos for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Occasional filming may be needed, but editing is the primary focus. You’ll also help brainstorm content ideas and collaborate with our creative team.
Table Media Group is looking for a creative and detail-driven Video Content Creator to bring social media stories to life through smart filming and sharp editing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and understands how to craft short-form video content that performs across platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
While you’ll occasionally be behind the camera for on-site filming, your primary focus will be editing—turning raw footage into scroll-stopping content. You’ll also contribute to brainstorming sessions, support content strategy with creative input, and collaborate closely with the Art Director, social team, and offshore editors.
• Video Editing: Own the editing process for social-first videos using raw footage from client shoots, user-generated content, or pre-recorded materials. Add subtitles, transitions, overlays, music, and pacing optimized for each platform.
• Filming Support: Occasionally support on-location filming (if local), ensuring quality footage is captured with the right framing, lighting, and direction based on the brief or storyboard.
• Content Ideation: Actively participate in brainstorms with the creative and social teams. Help pitch video concepts, hooks, trends, and story formats that match client goals.
• Platform Optimization: Deliver video assets in the proper ratios, lengths, and formats for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Ensure final edits align with best practices for mobile-first content.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all edits reflect the client’s brand identity, tone, and message. Add disclaimers, subtitles, or compliance text where applicable (especially for mortgage/real estate accounts).
• Collaboration: Work with the Art Director and offshore editing support to manage post-production workflows and meet weekly deadlines.
• Revisions: Implement feedback from the team or clients quickly and professionally, keeping project timelines on track.
