The Role

As a Seafood Department Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our seafood department. Your focus will be on maintaining product quality, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

What You'll Do

- Assist customers in selecting seafood products and provide knowledgeable recommendations.

- Ensure all seafood products are fresh, properly displayed, and labeled.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood department, including workstations and storage areas.

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe shopping experience.

- Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and customer needs.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred.

- Basic knowledge of seafood products and preparation methods is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as required.

Nice to Have

- Food handling certification or similar training.
