In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and growth of our anaerobic digestion plant located in Rome, GA.
As a Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for securing energy-rich feedstocks through strategic partnerships and contracts. You will drive business growth by identifying and engaging potential suppliers, negotiating agreements, and fostering long-term relationships. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of the Atlanta market dynamics.
- Actively prospect, identify, and develop relationships with potential feedstock suppliers in the Atlanta market.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, key players, and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative approaches for feedstock procurement and supply chain management.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Continuously monitor market conditions and adjust strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Represent Synthica Energy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on business development activities, progress, and results.
- Stay informed of industry regulations, policies, and market dynamics related to renewable energy and feedstock procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the energy or renewable energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Atlanta market, including key stakeholders, competitors, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify and seize business opportunities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel within the Atlanta area as needed.
