Characteristics for Success

An ideal applicant for this role will possess a solid foundation in project management, ideally demonstrated through experience in marketing agencies, or in-house marketing departments, with a keen focus on digital marketing. This role will be managing multiple concurrent marketing plans, campaigns and web builds for our clients.


Strong organizational skills are crucial, allowing for the effective planning and design of project scopes, goals, and deliverables. A successful Production Manager will exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities, enabling them to make timely recommendations and adapt to challenges without compromising project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

Project Management Practice: Build a library of project management tools, resources, and documentation. Implement a project management practice that is efficient, repeatable, and can support the growth of the company.

 

Project Planning and Design: Translate project scope, goals, and deliverables as presented by sales, senior management and stakeholders, into full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.

 

Execution and Coordination: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team member(s). Make timely recommendations when alternative solutions must be applied to maintain the schedule and intended outcomes for the project.

 

Quality Control: Ensure project outputs are of high quality, meeting client expectations and internal standards. Conduct regular project evaluations and assessments of results, sharing the results of the assessments and future improvements with senior management.

 

Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan for and mitigate risks that may impact the scope, schedule, or budget of projects.

 

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the point of contact for project communications. Maintain proactive communication on a regular cadence with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, regarding project status and changes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years professional work experience in digital marketing project management in a fast-paced environment, preferably in an agency or professional services organization.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in marketing, advertising, or related creative industry.
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing client needs and deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, project management, marketing, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
