Our mission: “Powering reliability for connected businesses everywhere.”

The role

Synaccess is scaling its national channel footprint, and we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager. You will own day-to-day marketing for a channel-first hardware company, reporting to the Global Head of Sales and working closely with the Head of Product. The priorities are clear: make partners want to sell us, make our products easy to find and quote, and create end-user demand our partners can fulfill. Your job is to execute against them well and to tell us what's working.

You'll work closely with our Head of Product on differentiation, positioning, and messaging. He brings deep technical understanding of what sets our products apart; you bring the market perspective and the writing craft to turn that into clear, repeatable messaging that partners and their customers respond to. We want someone who brings a point of view to that work and backs it up with what they hear from partners and customers.

This is the first dedicated marketing role at the company, so the scope is broad and you'll have real ownership. You won't be expected to do everything at once or entirely alone; we'll bring in outside help where it makes sense, and the function will grow with the business. Early on, expect to be hands-on and to prioritize hard.

What you'll own

1. Channel and partner marketing

  • Run the partner communication cadence: newsletters, launch briefings, enablement kits, QBR content
  • Build co-branded collateral and campaign kits partners will actually use
  • Define how partner leads should flow and what we measure, and report to leadership on whether the channel is working

2. Positioning, messaging, and product marketing

  • Partner with the Head of Product to develop and maintain our positioning, messaging hierarchy, partner pitch, and end-user pitch across both product tiers
  • Develop ideal customer and partner profiles and competitive positioning
  • Ensure every asset we produce says the same thing in the same way

3. Content, brand, and web

  • Own the editorial calendar: datasheets, comparison guides, case studies, application notes, sales enablement pieces, and SEO content
  • Grow our LinkedIn presence, both the company page and executive voices, with follower growth as a tracked goal
  • Assess and improve how our website presents both product tiers to buyers and resellers
  • Oversee our current paid programs (Google Ads, content syndication) and recommend what to do with them
  • Plan and support a small number of trade shows, partner events, and sales-floor sessions at large resellers alongside the sales team

What we're looking for

Must have

  • 5+ years in B2B technology marketing
  • Channel experience: you've worked with VARs and distributors and understand how a reseller rep decides what to quote
  • Product marketing depth: you've taken a technical product and built the positioning and messaging framework, and can show how it changed sales conversations
  • Strong writer and editor who can make technical content clear without making it wrong

Nice to have

  • Data center, IT infrastructure, or power hardware background
  • Experience/time as a solo marketing or a strong #2 at a small company where you owned outcomes
  • Experience selecting, hiring, managing, and when necessary replacing outside vendors and agencies
  • Hands-on paid digital experience, Google Ads in particular
  • Track record growing a B2B company's LinkedIn presence

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus targeted at 10% of base and tied to channel and partner marketing results.

Benefits include:

• Comprehensive health and dental insurance

• 401(k) with company match

• Flexible PTO policy

• Remote-first work environment (Chicago metro preferred)

• The opportunity to shape national channel strategy at a growing, innovation-driven company

This is a full-time, remote role based in Chicago, IL.

Salary

$125,000 - $150,000 per year
