Description

SWTHZ Cahaba Heights is seeking a driven, personable, and highly motivated Wellness Coordinator to join our team.

This is not a traditional front desk position. Our Wellness Coordinators are at the center of the entire SWTHZ experience: welcoming guests, educating clients, driving memberships and retail sales, maintaining immaculate suites, and making sure every detail of the studio reflects the elevated wellness environment we promise our clients.

If you like being busy, enjoy working with people, take pride in doing things exceptionally well, and are motivated by continuous improvement, this could be a great fit for you.

At SWTHZ, there is always something to do. Between welcoming guests, resetting suites, maintaining cleanliness, following up with leads, learning about our services, supporting members, and helping drive the business forward, our Wellness Coordinators stay engaged throughout their shifts.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t need to be told what to do next, but someone who notices what needs attention and takes ownership of it.

What You’ll Do

Create an Exceptional Guest Experience

  • Deliver an elevated, personalized guest experience from check-in to check-out
  • Build genuine relationships with members and first-time guests
  • Anticipate client needs and create a welcoming, polished, luxury environment
  • Educate clients on SWTHZ services, contrast therapy, recovery, and wellness offerings
  • Help clients get the most out of every visit and become a trusted resource for their wellness journey

Drive Membership & Retail Growth

  • Confidently educate guests about memberships, services, upgrades, and retail products
  • Convert first-time guests into long-term members
  • Follow up with leads and prospective members
  • Identify opportunities to increase member engagement and retention
  • Contribute to studio sales goals and overall business growth

Own the Studio Experience

  • Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and polished studio throughout every shift
  • Clean, sanitize, reset, and prepare suites between clients
  • Restock supplies and maintain studio presentation
  • Support daily opening and closing procedures
  • Help keep the studio operating smoothly, efficiently, and to SWTHZ standards
  • Take ownership of the details that make the difference between a good experience and an exceptional one

Cleaning and physical studio upkeep are a meaningful part of this role. Our clients expect a pristine, luxury environment every time they visit, and our Wellness Coordinators play a critical role in delivering that standard.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Driven and self-motivated - you see what needs to be done and take action
  • Personable and confident - you genuinely enjoy connecting with people
  • Sales-minded - you are comfortable recommending services and asking for the sale
  • Detail-oriented - you notice the little things and take pride in a polished environment
  • Hardworking and energetic - you enjoy staying busy rather than waiting for something to do
  • Coachable - you welcome feedback and actively work to improve
  • Curious - you want to understand the science and “why” behind what we do
  • Team-oriented - you contribute wherever the team and studio need you
  • Dependable - our team and our clients can count on you
  • Committed to growth - you want to continuously improve your skills, knowledge, and performance

Experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer experience is a plus, but attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn matter just as much.

This Role is a Great Fit If You…

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Like having a full and productive shift
  • Enjoy working with people throughout the day
  • Take pride in cleanliness and presentation
  • Like learning new things and becoming an expert at what you do
  • Enjoy being challenged and receiving feedback
  • Are energized by sales and helping clients find the right membership or service
  • Want to be part of a growing company with opportunities to take on more responsibility

This role is active and demanding. You will spend time on your feet, moving throughout the studio, cleaning and resetting suites, interacting with clients, selling memberships, and keeping operations moving. This is a great environment for someone who finds satisfaction in being productive and making a visible impact every shift.

Why This Role Is Exciting

Our Wellness Coordinators are a critical part of the SWTHZ experience and the success of the studio.

You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients, develop expertise in the rapidly growing wellness and recovery space, and contribute directly to the growth of the business.

You’ll also enjoy:

  • A fun, energetic, luxury wellness environment
  • Complimentary or discounted wellness services
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Training and ongoing development
  • Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding brand
  • The opportunity to become a trusted expert in contrast therapy and recovery
  • The opportunity to positively impact clients’ wellness, recovery, and performance journeys

Additional Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training required
  • Experience with membership or consultative sales is a strong advantage
  • Wellness, fitness, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred

  • Squatting, bending, reaching, and kneeling
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Repetitive cleaning and sanitizing
  • Moving supplies and equipment
  • Spotting and assisting clients when appropriate
  • Working in a warm, humid, and occasionally wet environment

Shift Availability

Candidates must maintain a minimum of 16 hours per week of availability and demonstrate consistency across opening or closing shifts, in addition to a minimum of one weekend day per week.

Because our studio operates seven days a week, flexibility and reliability are important to the success of the team.
