The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care and outstanding and friendly customer service. You must be able to assist patients with eyeglasses fittings, measurements, and other optical sales. You must possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determining our patients’ needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements for glasses. You will be expected to adjust frame and lens position to fit the patients face.

Job Responsibilities
Use prescription information from the doctor and the patient’s preferences, face shape, lifestyle and vision needs to recommend suitable eyeglasses, frames, and lenses.
Assist patients in selecting frames that complement their facial features and personal style.
Take precise measurements of the patient’s face and optical details to ensure a proper and comfortable fit for their new eyewear.
Make necessary adjustments to frames using optical tools or pliers to ensure optimal fit and comfort for the patient.
Guide patients on how to adapt to their new prescription, especially for those wearing progressive lenses.
Maintain a clean and organized optical display by arranging eyeglasses, sunglasses, and accessories.
Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance payments, placing inventory orders, and managing frame boards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the optical department.
Salary
$14.5 - $17 per hour
