Landscape Maintenance Apprentice

SWFL Landscape & Irrigation is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Apprentice to join our team in Southwest Florida. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to build a career in the landscape industry while learning hands-on from an experienced Crew Lead.


In this role, you will help maintain HOA, commercial, and industrial properties to company standards for quality, safety, and appearance. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.


Pay: $16 to $21 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing
  • Help with weeding, mulching, pruning, and general property cleanup
  • Support the crew with loading, unloading, and caring for tools and equipment
  • Follow direction from the Crew Lead and work as part of a team
  • Learn proper landscape maintenance techniques, safety practices, and equipment handling
  • Help maintain clean, professional-looking properties for our clients
  • Report property issues, equipment problems, or safety concerns to the Crew Lead


What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, walking, and using landscape tools
  • Positive attitude and ability to take direction well
  • Landscape experience is a plus, but not required
