A landscape maintenance apprentice is an entry-level team member who learns the trade while working alongside an experienced crew. They help with basic tasks like mowing, trimming, blowing, weeding, cleanup, plant care, and simple irrigation checks, while building skills in safety, equipment handling, quality standards, and jobsite routines. The goal of the role is to develop someone from reliable helper to productive maintenance tech over time through hands-on training, mentorship, and regular feedback.
SWFL Landscape & Irrigation is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Apprentice to join our team in Southwest Florida. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to build a career in the landscape industry while learning hands-on from an experienced Crew Lead.
In this role, you will help maintain HOA, commercial, and industrial properties to company standards for quality, safety, and appearance. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Pay: $16 to $21 per hour, based on experience
