Description

Supports To Empower People (S.T.E.P.) Community Living Services, Inc. is seeking a caring and dependable Respite Caregiver to provide support for a sweet 5-year-old girl with autism in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income while making a meaningful difference in a child's life.


Schedule


  • A few hours on weekends
  • Flexible scheduling based on family needs and caregiver availability


Responsibilities


  • Provide supervision and companionship
  • Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive environment
  • Assist with routine care as needed
  • Communicate with parents regarding activities and observations


Qualifications


  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Experience with autism or special needs is a plus, but not required
  • Patient, reliable, and compassionate
  • Must pass required background screening
  • Reliable transportation
