Position Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales quotas by proactively generating new leads through various channels, including outbound, inbound, networking, and industry events
  • Effectively coordinate all aspects of the sale from start to finish
  • Schedule and conduct appointments with key decision makers and project groups to present a compelling value proposition
  • Create and conduct sales presentations, conduct product demonstrations and prepare written proposals
  • Assist with the negotiation of pricing, contract terms, conditions and prepare final sales agreement
  • Grow and maintain customer accounts
  • Identify customer software needs and propose appropriate solutions utilizing appropriate SupplierGateway software solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their existing and future supplier data management roadmap to drive solution appropriate for marketplace
  • Use a CRM as the main repository for all sales data 
  • Stay abreast of new SupplierGateway functionality
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota for a minimum of two consecutive years
  • Proven ability to build a book of business from scratch - 80/20 outbound/inbound model
  • Must be able to do discovery, demo and clearly articulate value to potential customers.
  • Be willing to aggressively seek brand new business from all available resources, including but not limited to outbound, inbound and networking
  • Must be able to quickly learn the entire SupplierGateway product line and provide demos to potential prospects
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Proven written, verbal and communication skills including the ability to work with clients via web meetings and on the phone
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational and planning skills



Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Knowledge of supplier management software and procurement software required
  • Experience in SaaS industry required
  • Experience driving $2M quota


Salary

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
