The right candidate for this role will:

  • Be with the company long term - please NO students.
  • Welcome clients and parents in a courteous and professional manner
  • Quickly answer or properly refer questions and issues
  • Answer calls, arrange appointments and register clients, ensuring that all demographic information is accurate, including insurance information.
  • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
  • Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating client records in EMR
  • Verify accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate insurance verification before client's first visit
  • Perform pre-certification with insurance companies as needed.
  • Collect payments at each client visit.
  • Sending client invoices as needed
  • Troubleshoot insurance denials in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and fulfilling supply orders
  • Create and complete spreadsheets to track client and scheduling data
  • Provide administrative assistance to supervisors
  • Obtaining signatures from clients on annual forms
  • Laminating therapy materials as needed
  • Light cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned.
