Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
  • Register new patients and update existing records with exceptional accuracy
  • Manage high-volume appointment scheduling and patient flow
  • Verify insurance eligibility, interpret benefits, and collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances
  • Process referrals, medical records requests, and prior authorizations as needed
  • Answer and direct phone calls using proper medical telephone etiquette
  • Maintain an organized, HIPAA-compliant front office environment
  • Collaborate closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
  • Assist with billing support and documentation as required
  • Manage office supply inventory and assist with product tracking
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a medical office setting — REQUIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 50+ WPM
  • Strong working knowledge of medical insurance, billing processes, referrals, and authorizations
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred
  • Prior experience using RXNT EMR preferred.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
