Sunpath Solar is seeks a community - engaged individual who is highly-motivated to help homeowners, small businesses, and non-profits reduce their electricity bills with clean solar energy. The Solar Consultant will play a pivotal role in our mission to make solar energy accessible to all. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about renewable energy, community engagement, and helping homeowners. As a Solar Consultant, you will receive on-the-job training, allowing you to develop the necessary sales skills to excel in a career in solar energy. This position is a hybrid role, applicants must be bilingual (Spanish & English) and located in Georgia with ability to travel occasionally to client-sites.

Description

Responsibilities:


  • Solar Sales and Education:
  • Build relationships with customers and provide
  • Educate prospective customers about the benefits of solar energy and Sunpath's offerings
  • Engineer physical and financial offerings for each client’s home, non-profit, or small-business
  • Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations 
  • Guide customers through the solar sales and installation process and assist with paperwork
  • Community Engagement:
  • Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to create awareness about solar energy solutions and Sunpath’s offerings
  • Participate in community events, workshops, and information sessions to promote solar education.
  • On-the-Job Technical and Skills Training:
  • Participate in training sessions to become proficient in solar technology and building solar pathways for clients. Continuously update knowledge of solar products and services.
  • Learn to use CRM and other software tools effectively for sales and customer management.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain strong communication with the Sunpath team, providing regular updates on sales progress and community outreach.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and materials to effectively convey the benefits of solar energy.



Qualifications (preferred):

  • Strong passion for renewable energy and a commitment to Sunpath's mission.
  • Personable, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Interest in technology, especially solar energy systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Salary

$70,000 - $120,000 per year
