As Kitchen Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the back of house at Sunnyside on Center in the Field Club / Hanscom Park neighborhood. You’ll be a part of a positive team environment that cares about serving quality breakfast to our customers! This is a 5 day a week morning position where you'll always be done by mid afternoon!
You have a passion for food quality, management, and love fast paced fast casual environments while maintaining a positive work culture. You work closely with the Operations Director and FOH manager to ensure a seamless and profitable experience for our customers!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a kitchen manager and a cook
- Inventory management skills
- Ordering skills
- Previous kitchen Team management, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Familiar with food costs and Budgeting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations, cooking techniques, ingredients, and allergens.
Responsibilities:
- Own food product outcomes. Even as we grow the kitchen team, you lead by example
- Own the special burrito menu monthly
- Run a clean, efficient kitchen
- Supervise, train, and retain kitchen staff
- Own your BOH food ordering and labor budget targets through managing vendors, efficient ordering, menu development, and cook management.
- Work with Operations Director to see BOH repairs or other changes through to completion when necessary
- Develop and implement strategies to get more volumes of food sold, increase average price per order, and maintain excellent food customer reviews

$50-53K base salary. On top of that is a benefits package including:
