Position Overview:
We are seeking a Designer Salesperson with a minimum of 3 years of residential design and wood frame construction experience, preferably in a residential remodeling or homebuilding company. As a team player, you will put both internal and external customers first, be solutions oriented, and respect the process we follow to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine project scope, goals, and budget, aligning with our core value of exceptional experience.
- Develop design concepts that reflect the client's vision and requirements, demonstrating creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using Chief Architect Premiere, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Select materials, finishes, lighting, and other fixtures for each project, showing financial wisdom and a commitment to quality.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth execution of the project, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, showcasing exceptional organizational skills.
- Conduct site visits to assess space and gather necessary information for design development, demonstrating thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Provide an exceptional client experience by addressing concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process, embodying our core value of charity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field, demonstrating a commitment to personal growth.
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, 2020 Design, and Chief Architect Premiere, showing a dedication to excellence.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes, reflecting a deep knowledge of the industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential for building strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, balancing autonomy with collaboration.
- A passion for design and a keen eye for detail, aligning with our core value of exceptional experience.
