Job Overview:

At Summit Center for Child Development, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work closely with our licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to individuals with communication disorders. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.


Responsibilities:

- Implement therapy activities and exercises as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist

- Document client progress and communicate effectively with team members and families

- Provide support and encouragement to clients during therapy sessions

- Maintain a clean and organized therapy space


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field

- Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Knowledge of therapy techniques and practices
