Imagine this:

It's Tuesday. You start with coffee downtown with the marketing director of a regional healthcare system, a relationship you've been building for a month. You leave with a proposal meeting on the books and a clear picture of what they actually need, because you asked great questions instead of just pitching.


You work your pipeline before lunch, notes in the CRM, next steps on the calendar.


In the afternoon, you meet the owner of a design-build firm who's been reading StyleBlueprint for years and never knew she could partner with us.


That evening, there's a chamber event, and you know half the room, including two people you plan to know better. If reading that put a smile on your face, keep going. If it sounded exhausting, this isn't your job, and that's fine too.


Compensation:

StyleBlueprint believes in compensating salespeople fairly and in proportion to the revenue they generate. This position comes with an established book of business, so you're earning commission from day one, augmented by a guaranteed draw while you grow the book into something bigger. The role is mostly commission-based and uncapped: the better you are, the better this deal gets.

Requirements and Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales or nonprofit development, with provable past success. We will ask for numbers and we call references.
  • Must already live in Nashville and have prior knowledge of Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
  • Experience in all facets of a complete sales cycle: hunting for, finding, and closing new business
  • Strong willingness and ability to hunt. A day of in-person prospecting sounds like a good day to you
  • Able to sell at two altitudes: a genuine conversation with a local business owner and a structured presentation to a marketing team, and you enjoy both
  • Patient enough for longer sales cycles. You can keep a multi-month, multi-stakeholder deal moving while your short-cycle pipeline stays full
  • You treat an inherited relationship like a promise: renewals don't slip on your watch
  • Comfortable challenging and asking difficult questions, including with strong personalities in the C-suite. Your job is to ask the best questions to find the best solutions for our partners.
  • Not easily discouraged. You work a disciplined prospecting plan: notes taken, follow-ups scheduled, pipeline current
  • Comfortable being held accountable to prospecting metrics and sales KPIs, with a demonstrated ability to convert prospects and maintain quota
  • Authentic, effective, and direct communication. The fewer emails, the better
  • High levels of personal and professional responsibility, with the ability to quickly internalize coaching and training
  • Works well within a team and independently
  • We only sell the right fit for the business, and you wouldn't want to sell any other way
  • Tech-savvy and a quick learner. We actively embrace AI for business operations as it allows you to spend less time doing manual tasks and more time talking with your partners and prospects.
  • Experience selling digital media or other media channels is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
